Kekkei Genkai Name: Yuurei (Ghost)
Physiological Attributes: When active Yuurei makes the users skin become increasingly transparent, often body parts begin to fade from view until the full body of the user is entirely transparent, tiny black marks appear on the shinobi after using Yuurei. These small black lines are barely noticeable but over time and multiple uses they begin to grow in size and form tattoos under the skin. The tattoos are blood bruises that do not heal. The blood bruise tattoos start at the users torso and spread outwards to the limbs and up the neck. After thousands of uses, the user is entirely coated with these marks, from head to toe, marks even form in the users eyes causing blindness. After this stage the bruises begin spreading on the inside of the user, over the internal organs and muscles.
Special Abilities:
Yuurei has three distinct abilities, the power of these abilities are divided into three stages, each with their own drawbacks and limitations, each stage of Yuurei allows for progressive power upon mastery of the kekkei Genkai.
Ichi (the first power): Those who have acquired the first stage have the power to become entirely invisible. The body and the chakra of the user fade from the sight of the world. This ability feeds off the chakra of the user. Duration of this ability is relevant to the stage of Yuurei that the user is in. Each stage Further enhances this ability.
Kurai (the second power):The second power is reached by obtaining Stage two of Yuurei, at this point the user has blood-bruise tattoos all over their torso but the tattoos have not begin to spread down the arms. The second power allows the user to make objects transparent, clothing, small objects and objects of low density are easily made transparent by the user. Material is made transparent according to density, items of lower density (such as clothing and fabric) require less chakra to make transparent, while items of higher density (like weapons of iron and steel) require huge amounts of chakra to make transparent. Making weapons insensible to yuurei users during use of their ability.
Kami (the third power): The third power is acquired by years of using Yuurei, and reaching stage three of Yuurei often the user has their entire torso and limbs covered in the black blood-bruise tattoos at this point. The second power allows the user to fade through objects without harming themselves. They are ghosts who can walk through walls, trees, water, sand, dirt. This allows the user to physically push into any dense object and fade through it. In this stage the user cannot physically harm anyone, nor can they suffer physical damage. They meld through objects, and become the perfect spy.

Stage one of yuurei allows the user to become invisible entirely, but only for a short time. They may use the Ichi ability (explained above). Typically the user can stay invisible for up to fifteen to thirty minutes. During this time, as each second passes the user is becoming drained of chakra and physically exhausted. The user cannot hide their chakra in this stage, merely their physical form. Stage one users typically have only a few black marks, or none at all. These small tattoos look more like little black lines along the users torso. Clothing and other small items cannot be made transparent by the user in stage one.
Stage two of yuurei allows the user to become invisible entirely for up to three hours using the ichi ability. During this time the user is being slowly drained of Chakra. The users chakra is hidden entirely and only those who have Dojutsu perception Kekkei Genkai can see their chakra flow. Only shinobi who are higher level sensory-type shinobi can detect the user. Very few Shinobi can detect the user unless physically touched by the user. Stage two allows the user to use the Kurai ability (explained above).
Stage three of Yuurei allows the user to use the Kami ability (explained above.) It also enhances the other two abilities. The user is being very slowly drained of chakra, and may use Ichi for up to six hours without reverting. The chakra drain is so slow in stage three that the user often doesn't feel themselves being drained of chakra. Stage three of Yuurei allows the user to use Kurai (explained above) more effectivily, and requires less chakra to make items transparent. Items of higher density such as steel or iron is still very difficult for the user to make transparent. Finally stage three of Yuurei allows the user to use Kami (explained above).
Method of Obtainment:
Yuurei is advanced and learned through two different methods.
Thus, theyre are two requirements to each stage of Yuurei.
The first is Pain whether controlled or uncontrolled, whether physical or mental further increases the users perception to their bloodline trait. Stage one requires a surreal understanding of human emotion and personal experience.
Stage two requires the user to have undergone extreme loss. The user must lose something or someone very dear to them, it requires true heart break.
Stage three requires the user to be broken entirely. Stage three users no longer feel love, for their entire world has shattered before them and they are nothing but bleak remnants and shattered souls of their former selves.
The second is an understanding of nature
The first stage requires the user to understand that every living thing has a pulse and seeks life. Those who have mastered the first stage of Yuurei avoid destruction without purpose. Every living breathing thing has its point and to deny life is a tragety.
The second stage requires the user to understand the realm of shadow, the user must realize that they are one with nature. They are no different the trees which branch forth limbs for warmth, they are no different then the water which seeks to flow, nor any different then the breeze which seeks to travel. they must understand the force of the world and its movement, and its breathing.
The third requires the user to understand the death and rebirth of all living things. As one life fades, another is born. The user must understand the cycle of life to the point that they realize their life and death is as meaningful and as meaningless as that of a bug, that of any other living thing. The user no longer can fear change, they must understand adaption. The user no longer fears death in this stage, for to them not breathing is the same as breathing.
Limitations/Drawbacks:
Those who use yuurei are covered in blood bruise tattoos. As these tattoos spread into the eyes the user becomes blind, as these tattoos spread internally the users organs begin to slowly deteriorate over time. Thousands of uses could result in blindness, afterwards the users organs begin to shut down as the bruises spread across the lungs, kidneys, and eventually the users heart and brain. After the bruises spread internally they begin to form over the muscle tissue causing a constant and horrid ache that never fades, the bruises then begin to engrave in the bones, and even the nerves until the user is entirely one walking bruise. Death often occurs before the bruise tattoos can form into the brain. Over using Yuurei is suicide.
Stage one has a very short time limit of the ability Ichi.
Stage two users are often partially covered in the tattoo bruises and thus ache severely constantly as the bruises etch deeper into the flesh.
Stage three users are usually at least covered sixty-five percent in the tattoos and thus their aches are increased. Their pain is often very severe and thus they begin to become physically weaker and increasingly fragile.
The users chakra is still detectible in all stages by higher level sensory types in all three stages.
